MightyFine Cranberry & Raspberry Vinegar Sauce
Try our super duper fruity, quick & easy Cranberry sauce recipe for lazy foodies. We used a whole mix of our products to make this, all adding to the depth of flavour, the MightyFine Mulling Syrup isn’t just for mulled wine, it’s an intensely spiced orange infused syrup, great for glazing meat, adding to cocktails & to baking. We were inspired by a Nigella Lawson recipe to add the little dash of Coxy’s Cherry Brandy at the end to super charge this sauce. Try it with cold ham, goats cheese or homemade sausage rolls, we think you’ll like it!
250g Cranberries (fresh or frozen)
100ml MightyFine Faversham Raspberry Vinegar
100ml MightyFine Mulling Syrup
2 tbsp MightyFine Spiced Kent Honey
1 orange, zested
2 tbsp Coxy’s Cherry Brandy
Into a small pan add the cranberries, MightyFine Raspberry vinegar, the mulling syrup, orange zest & also the MightyFine Spiced Kent Honey, cook over a medium heat, stirring regularly. Once the pan comes to the boil, turn the heat down low & simmer for about 10 minutes, breaking up the cranberries by squashing them as you stir (it’s nice to have a mix of whole & squashed berries for texture). Remove from the heat & taste, you can add more honey at this stage if you like a sweeter sauce. Last of all stir through the Coxy’s Cherry Brandy.
